Moving day...
We are back in the Yuba Duba after a long day of packing and unpacking...I don't care that our apartment was furnished and all I had to move was bathroom and clothes..I HATE PACKING AND UNPACKING AND THE ORGANIZING, DESTROYING, and REORGANIZING that accompanies it each time we move which seems to be A LOT every year....I AM READY FOR A HOUSE of my own!!!!!Now I just have to find room at my parents' house for all our stuff...It will be a small feat to get everything put away. It always makes me wonder how we accumulate so much SH** in such a small amount of time!

Babysitting...
David and I babysat the cousins the other day. I wasn't sure what we were in for, but I was excited to do my best with 3 kids four years old and under. It turned out to be a great day! Meals were on time, laughter was heard from all, lots of energy was expended, and they even got baths at the end of the night, AND our house was clean when we went to sleep! It was fun.
Three car seats right in a row
Breakfast for 3..Tay tay insisted on sitting in P's chair.
Looking for flies
P being a wierdo
Go Nate!!!
Tay being a beast
Tay tay insisted in sitting right next to P...He, of course, stole food off her plate instead of eating his own food.
Nate gets his kiss in :)
At the water park...Snack break...David is telling P to stop standing up and P thinks it is hilarious!
Kissing Cousins
Praustin at Fairytale Town
We met Mr. Austy (as my mom calls him), Jason, and Sarah at Fairytale Town. It was a great morning...Totally wiped P out. He had a blast running around, chasing the chickens and being scared of them, playing with Austy, and of course, eating. We were the first patrons of the day and were nearly goosed by a goose..It would not stop following us. P was getting scared and of course, weenie me, I was horrified...I found a man who worked there and told him that the goose wouldn't leave us alone and he scared it off...Thank god! :)
Summer is coming to an end...
Which makes my heart break a little more each day :(....The end of summer always means leaving someone...This year David will be leaving us....I am dreading the day.
Snails and puppy dog tails...
Things that boys are made of right? I have always said I think of myself more as a boys mother than a girls...I would be happy having 5 boys and no girls...The pink purple girly stuff in not what I die over...I love polos and rugby stripes...I love boy stuff, I really really do...However, recently P has found that he loves snails...I hate snails...I hate snails like I hate birds...Thinking about them right now makes my stomach turn...He picked one up yesterday and shoved his finger in the poor snail's shell...Out comes pieces of snail and snail juice...Then he wants me to pick him up...As any good mother would do, I carried him in loving arms home, not even dry heaving once.. He found one a couple of days ago and played with it forever...He snuck it into the house somehow, dropped it on the bathroom floor, and I couldn't touch it..I hate them. David came home, he went to get it and it was GONE!!!! I thought they moved slow?..It had crawled up under our vanity in the bathroom...They just gross me out so bad! I am thinking maybe a girl is more my style, hmmmmmmm..Puppy dog tails are another story..I love everything about puppies!
Sidewalk Chalk...
I love sidewalk chalk...Preston loves to eat it and sit on my drawings...I am hoping someday that he will get as much joy out of sidewalk chalk as I do...I takes me back to my childhood for some reason.
First Camping Trip...
We went to Bodega Bay with Mike and Leah and kids...It was really fun, really dirty, really exhausting, and really, really cold....We brought a stove that didn't work and I thought I forgot a few things, so we paid an arm and a leg for them up there. We found them as soon as we had bought them...Preston had a rough go of things the first and last nights, but it was so awesome to watch him with Nate and Tay Tay...They loved on him like you have never seen....It is a grand love affair between the three of them...Nate is P's protector. There are a few things I would do differently for next time, but I guess that is to be expected when you are a camping virgin. Lastly, Preston was pretty much obsessed with the ocean.

First Hike!!!
It was more like a walk but we were excited because we got to use our hiking back pack, pretending like we were hardcore, earthy, Teva wearing hikers...It was nice!
